1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Reverser mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
Reverser provides media verification services including:
- Reverse image and video search
- AI-generated content detection for images and text
- Metadata extraction from images and videos
- News and fact verification
3. User Accounts and Authentication
3.1 Device-Based Authentication
Reverser uses device-based authentication. Each device is assigned a unique identifier that serves as your account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device.
3.2 Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activities.
4. Usage Limits and Subscriptions
4.1 Free Tier
Free users are limited to 10 verification requests per day. This limit resets daily at midnight UTC.
4.2 Premium Subscriptions
Premium subscriptions provide unlimited verification requests. Available subscription periods:
- 3 days
- 7 days
- 30 days
4.3 Payment and Billing
Payments are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store. All purchases are subject to their respective terms and conditions. Subscriptions do not auto-renew; you must manually purchase a new subscription when it expires.
4.4 Refunds
Refund requests must be made through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store according to their refund policies. We do not process refunds directly.
5. Content and Conduct
5.1 User Content
You retain ownership of any content you upload to Reverser. By uploading content, you grant us a temporary license to process it for verification purposes. We delete uploaded content within 24 hours of processing.
5.2 Prohibited Content
You may not upload or verify content that:
- Violates any laws or regulations
- Infringes on intellectual property rights
- Contains malware or harmful code
- Depicts illegal activities
- Contains child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
- Promotes violence, hatred, or discrimination
5.3 Prohibited Conduct
You may not:
- Attempt to circumvent usage limits or authentication
- Reverse engineer or decompile the App
- Use automated tools to access the service (bots, scrapers)
- Interfere with or disrupt the service
- Impersonate others or provide false information
6. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, code, features, and content, is owned by Reverser and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.
7. Disclaimers and Limitations
7.1 Service Accuracy
Reverser provides verification results based on available data and AI models. We do not guarantee 100% accuracy. Results should be used as guidance, not definitive proof. You are responsible for verifying critical information through additional sources.
7.2 Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The App may be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or technical issues.
7.3 Third-Party Services
Reverser integrates with third-party services (Bing, Google, NewsAPI). We are not responsible for the accuracy, availability, or policies of these services.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, REVERSER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Reverser, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
10. Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review it to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or by email. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
